Privacy notice
Version RD-BETA-02 · effective 26 October 2026
Who is responsible
Revision Desk is the trading brand of an individual entrepreneur established in Georgia, the country. Revision Desk is responsible for the project-related contact and order information described below. For privacy questions and rights requests, email humanji.aich+revisiondesk@gmail.com.
This notice covers this public website, the local Mac beta and Revision Desk correspondence. It does not cover an unrelated hosted workspace or services you independently connect. Sales are currently closed; the purchase section describes processing when Paddle checkout is enabled.
Your local projects and footage
The Mac package runs a server on your computer at 127.0.0.1. The browser-only workspace saves projects in that browser's storage. Connecting to the optional local shared workspace stores notes, rounds, file labels, SHA-256 fingerprints, observations and agent proposals in the local app data directory. Workspace keys and connection settings are local configuration.
The local video player uses files you select and browser File/blob APIs. Playback and fingerprinting do not upload the video bytes to Revision Desk. A filename or fingerprint identifies a file version; it is not the video itself. The local app does not contain an automatic video-analysis service, central project backup or added usage-analytics service.
You control local copies and exported JSON. Clearing browser storage does not delete downloaded files, the local server's data directory or handoffs already shared with someone else. If you connect your own agent, send a support example or share a report, information included in that action goes to the chosen recipient under its own practices. Do not share private keys or confidential client content unnecessarily.
Visits to this website
The static website and its demo assets are hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Requests expose network information such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser/device headers to Cloudflare so it can deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We have not added advertising pixels, visitor-analytics scripts, a contact form or marketing cookies. Cloudflare can use its own security mechanisms and cookies as described in its policies. Browser controls can manage cookies.
Correspondence and AI assistance
When you contact us, we process the email address, name if provided, message, replies, relevant order identifier and troubleshooting details you choose to send. Project mail is handled through Gmail, provided by Google; see Google's privacy policy. Project working records are also kept locally.
Revision Desk correspondence is assisted by OpenAI's Codex/ChatGPT: relevant message text and order context can be processed to understand requests and draft replies. See OpenAI's privacy policy. An AI assistant identifies its role in project correspondence. This is not automated decision-making about credit, employment or similar eligibility. Do not send passwords, workspace keys, payment-card data, sensitive personal information or confidential client footage. We request a minimal redacted example only when needed to investigate a problem.
Orders and payments
When enabled, Paddle will act as the authorised reseller and merchant of record for purchases and process billing, payment, tax and fraud-prevention information under Paddle's privacy policy. Revision Desk receives the order details needed to supply and support the package and reconcile refunds, such as customer email, product, order identifier, amount and transaction status. Revision Desk does not collect or store payment-card numbers.
Delivery uses a download link sent to the purchase email. The delivery route will be verified before sales open. We do not need client footage to supply the package. Any additional delivery provider that receives customer information will be disclosed here before that route is enabled.
Why we process information and for how long
We use correspondence and order data to answer requests, supply and support purchases, investigate defects, handle refunds and prevent misuse. The applicable legal bases are steps you request before a contract and performance of the purchase/support agreement; our legitimate interests in answering business inquiries, keeping minimal refusal records and resolving problems; and legal obligations for required transaction records. Where consent is required for another use, we ask before that use. We do not sell personal data, run unrelated targeted advertising or use your local footage to train models.
Ordinary support correspondence and troubleshooting records are kept for up to 12 months after the last interaction, then deleted unless needed for an unresolved dispute or legal obligation. Prospect working records are removed within 90 days after a conversation closes, except a minimal record needed to respect a refusal. Order and refund records are kept for applicable tax/accounting requirements and unresolved claims; we review their continuing need at least annually. Provider records follow the linked provider policies. You determine retention of your own local project files.
Providers, location and protection
The operator works from Georgia. Google, Cloudflare, OpenAI and Paddle operate internationally and can process relevant information in other countries. Their linked notices explain their locations, retention and transfer arrangements. We do not promise a specific processing country or a transfer certification. Contact us for information about the providers involved in your request.
We limit support access to project work and request only what is necessary. Local workspace keys protect access to the local shared workspace; they are not an encryption guarantee for your files. No internet or local storage method is completely secure. We may disclose relevant records if required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
Your choices and rights
Contact the privacy email to request access, correction or deletion, or to object, restrict processing or request portability where applicable law provides these rights. We may need a proportionate identity check to protect someone else's information; do not send identity documents unless a necessary and appropriate route is agreed. We respond within the deadline required by applicable law and explain any lawful retention or refusal. A deletion request to us does not erase copies on your computer or records held independently by Paddle.
You may complain to the competent data-protection authority in your jurisdiction. The professional beta is intended for adults aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly seek children's information. Material notice changes will carry a new date and be communicated to affected customers where required. A new use requiring consent will not be introduced by a silent retrospective change.
